1 Ross, Anne Pagan Celtic Britain (Studies in Iconography and Tradition)
London Routledge 1968 Hard Cover
Second edition. Near Fine in a Near Fine dustjacket. Chocolate-brown boards. The spine is stamped in black and gilt. 433pp. Includes 10 maps and numerous plates. A previous owner's blindstamp is in the bottom corner of the half-title page. A couple of tips have minor bumping. This volume is, otherwise, in splendid shape: clean, tight, square, and bright. The price-clipped dustjacket, glossy in a mylar sleeve, has light touches of edgewear and toning; no chips or tears. A very nice copy.

Dr. Anne Ross writes from wide experience of living in Celtic-speaking communities where she has traced vernacular tradition. She employs archaeological and anthropoligical evidence, as well as folklore, to provide broad insight into the early Celtic world..."
