In Very Good+ condition. Bound in the publisher's full decorative blue cloth. The spine is stamped in gilt; the front panel in gilt, silver, and black; the rear panel in silver and black. Octavo. Slate-blue endpapers. vii + 331pps., + ads. No dustjacket. A previous owner's name has been erased from a preliminary page, a vintage bookseller's label is affixed to the front pastedown, and there is a small split (less than an inch) at the top of the front hinge. Otherwise clean, bright, square, and soundly bound. A nice copy in a bright and eye-catching binding. The author is much better known for his 'The Prisoner of Zenda,' published the previous year.
