Decorative brown endpapers. 128pps., with numerous illustrations by Froud. Stated First Edition. Mild rubbing to the wraps with a couple of tips creased or rounded. A brief gift inscription is neatly penned near the top of the ffep. All pages are intact and immaculate, though it appears as if a signature had come unbound and was subsequently re-glued into the wraps. A nice copy, overall, of a scarce and beautiful book.
