There is a pencil-erasure (of price) in the upper corner of the front free endpage and a date with the previous owner's name is neatly penned near the top of the title-page, otherise Fine: clean, tight, square, and bright. All tips are sharp. No apparent reading wear. The dust jacket, glossy in a mylar sleeve, is as new; the original price (23.00) is intact. A very nice, collector's-quality copy of the author's first novel.

The heel of the spine is mildly bumped and a previous owner has neatly penned a date (11-13-00) in the upper corner of the rear free endpage. Otherwise clean, tight, square, and bright. All tips are sharp. There is no apparent reading wear. The dustjacket, glossy in a mylar sleeve, is as new; the original price (24.95) is intact. An excellent, collector's-quality copy of Flynn's third novel.
