Henry, Marguerite Auno and Tauno : A Story of Finland Chicago, IL, U.S.A. Albert Whitman 1940 First Edition Cloth Blackwood, Gladys Rourke Very Good+ in a Very Good dustjacket. Bound in full beige buckram with a large, full-color pastedown label on the front panel. Quarto. Pictorial endpapers. Unpaginated, with a full-color illustration on the recto of each sheet. There is a tidy gift inscription near the top of the ffep. and there is a 2" tear, fully closed, at the top of said page, otherwise clean, tight, square, and bright. All tips are sharp. The dustjacket, glossy in a mylar sleeve, has modest general edgewear, a 2" closed tear at the bottom of the front panel, and a small chip at the rear flap-fold; the original price is intact. A very nice, collectible copy, colorfully jacketed.
