In Near Fine condition. Bound in full beige buckram. The spine is stamped in brown; the front panel of this first-state binding has the inset label of 'the cosmological eye.' Octavo. [ix] + 363pps. No dustjacket. There is a faint touch of sunning to the spine and browning to either pastedown (as is common, due to the binder's glue). Otherwise clean, bright, square, and soundly bound. All tips are sharp. No previous ownership markings. A very nice copy of the author's first U. S. publication.
